001 · Applied Research Project
Text Summarisation with Deep Learning Integration
Advanced NLP pipeline combining transformer architectures (BERT, T5) for automatic text summarisation. Compared extractive vs abstractive approaches across benchmark datasets with ROUGE and BLEU evaluation metrics. Fine-tuned pre-trained models on domain-specific corpora. This was the capstone Applied Research Project of my MSc Data Science programme at York St John University, 2024.

Loan Approval Prediction System
End-to-end ML classification pipeline using XGBoost, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting. Applied SHAP values for interpretability, cross-validation, and extensive feature engineering for actionable risk assessment insights.

Malicious URL Detection System
Real-time URL threat classifier using ML and NLP feature extraction. Identified phishing, malware, and spam URLs with high precision. Applied lexical, host-based, and content-based features with an ensemble model pipeline.

Retail Sales Forecasting
Time-series forecasting using ARIMA, Facebook Prophet, and LSTM neural networks to predict retail sales. Delivered actionable insights via interactive Tableau dashboards with seasonal decomposition and confidence intervals.

Book Karobar — Accounting Web App
BSc final year project: comprehensive web accounting platform for SMEs featuring double-entry bookkeeping, invoice management, multi-user RBAC, financial reporting, and complete audit trails. Built with Django.

Hamro Bazar — E-Commerce Platform
Full-featured MERN stack marketplace: product listings, cart management, order processing, payment integration, and admin analytics dashboard. Built and deployed for live production use.

Insurance Fraud Detection & Analytics
Anomaly detection models to flag fraudulent insurance claims at Rastriya Jeewan Beema. Power BI dashboards tracking premiums, claims KPIs, and customer retention for executive leadership teams.

Enterprise KPI Dashboard Suite
Comprehensive Power BI and Tableau dashboard suite for national insurance organisation — daily/monthly/yearly performance, claims analysis, branch comparisons, and financial reporting via complex MSSQL stored procedures.
